The LIS community consists of a large number of individuals and groups of people which – in one way or another – all participate in our school life.
In a narrow sense, the LIS community involves people who are directly affiliated with our school, most of them even on a daily basis: our students, teachers, the school administration, the parents and the governing bodies of the school. In addition, one should not forget to mention the LIS Alumni, a group that is still small but growing from year to year.
In the broader sense, the LIS community can be defined as the sum of all stakeholders that take an interest in our school to further the attractiveness of Leipzig and its region. Most notably, these are the international community, the city administration, the private sector and the research, cultural and educational institutions.
All these stakeholders take direct advantage of Leipzig providing an internationally recognized quality education and have accompanied and supported the school on numerous occasions.
