Pre-School is divided into three separate year groups:
Pre-School 1 3 to 4 year-olds
Pre-School 2 4 to 5 year-olds
Reception 5 to 6 year-olds
To be admitted into Pre-School 1 a child must be 3 years old in August or become 3 years of age by September 30th.
Subject to the place avalibity children may join Pre-School 1 in January, if they turn three until end of December, but all children turning three during the course of the year will repeat Pre-School 1 to be with their age group the following year.
Pre-School 1 and 2 are taught by Pre-School teachers (Erzieher).
Reception classes are taught by qualified native English speaking teachers.
An interview is a vital part of the application procedure, which takes place following the completion of the application forms.
