There are always positions that become vacant during the school year, however normally new teaching positions are filled during the period January to April for the following school year.

- Pre-School or Hort positions with 30 days holidays per year (require a qualification in Early Years or Social Work)
- Substitute teachers with teaching qualifications
- Substitute staff for the reception desk
